¡Totalmente recomendable!

Overall, the experience was excellent. We really enjoyed the Acropolis tour, and our guide, Simon, was delightful: very approachable, friendly, and made the visit very enjoyable. The only downside was that the company changed the tour time from 8:00 to 10:00, which slightly disrupted our plans for the day. Even so, we thoroughly enjoyed the visit and came away with very fond memories. Highly recommended!

Translate this opinion into English.

Wonderful! With our guide Maria, we learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed the historical journey. With each story she told, you could imagine what life was like on the Acropolis and in Athens. I sincerely believe there's nothing like going with a guide; otherwise, you'd simply see ruins. With a guide, you're able to visualize the past. Opinion translated. Show original.

Our guide was very friendly, approachable, and fun, so my rating has nothing to do with his attitude. I was somewhat disappointed with the duration and content of the visit, as we spent only 40 minutes with the guide in the area where the main monuments are located. Considering the history and importance of the place, the explanations seemed quite brief and general to me. I think many visits are concentrated in a short time, which makes it impossible to enjoy the place.

Translate this opinion into English.

An excellent guide, everything was very well explained, and there was plenty of time to see everything and take photos. She was kind, finding places for me to sit during her explanations (I use a walking stick), and she was attentive to everyone. We loved the Acropolis, and she explained it very well. I highly recommend the visit. Opinion translated. Show original.

Recomendable 110% Translate this opinion into English.

I had high expectations for the guide. I've been using Civitatis for a long time, usually for Free Walking tours. Antonia was our guide, and she was excellent. Professional, I'd even say overqualified for the position—ideal, knowledgeable, informative, and friendly. 110% recommended. Opinion translated. Show original.

The tour was fine. But sitting in the shade on the Acropolis, drinking water, I overheard another guide giving so many explanations to a group of the same size as ours that it felt like they were just stringing us along the way. Like I said, it was alright, but if the other tour was as good as it seemed, then ours felt a bit lackluster.

Our guide was Evangelo, who shared not only his knowledge of the Acropolis but also his love for his city. He was very thoughtful, finding shady spots to meet us and tell us about the history of the site. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The only drawback, besides the heat, was that the headphones weren't working properly... so we tried to stay close to the guide so we wouldn't miss any of the explanations. Opinion translated.

Leaving the tour operator's premises—which have restrooms—and having to arrive 15 minutes early, people should be reminded that the tour lasts 2 hours and that they can use the restrooms instead of waiting 10 minutes after departure, as we lost about 20 minutes waiting for people to use the restroom. The guide was very good at explaining things and answering questions, but in my opinion (perhaps this is just a personal preference), he was silent for too long.

Translate this opinion into English.

We had Kimon as our guide, and we absolutely loved him! He explained everything in detail without overwhelming us with too many facts, simply emphasizing the most important points. He found us shady spots whenever possible. He was attentive to the members of the group, some of whom had physical difficulties following the route, and he was always very attentive and kind. And he answered all our questions excellently, demonstrating his profound knowledge. Opinion translated. Show original.

Diez de diez Translate this opinion into English.

Puntualidad y datos claros.

Punctuality and clear information. The visit and group walk within the Acropolis were quite limited. We didn't see all the points of interest. Once it was over, I listened to other guides, and they were more comprehensive and included resources like drawings of the monuments.

Translate this opinion into English.

It was a great experience! We went on the 8 am tour, which I highly recommend because the heat afterward must be unbearable. Kimon, our guide, was a true professional; it was clear he knew a lot about Greek history. He was constantly checking everyone's names to gather the group before each explanation, finding shade to make us more comfortable, and recommending places to eat, etc. Opinion translated.
